Early Morning!

Played for the state of the city this morning and was given the opportunity to write a song for my home. Now I’m working on recording it because it went over well! Stay tuned!

I was asked to play for the mayors state of the city address a couple days ago and an additional request they had for me was to write a song about the city. I reflected a lot about how my family has moved so so so many times but for some reason, they always came back to Nebraska no matter how far away we went. Almost as if it was a rest point between adventures. So when I wrote the song, it came to me in the form of a love letter. Here’s the chorus of the song. This will be available to stream very soon! Thanks for listening 🙏🏾❤️#originalmusic #songwriter These were @pepesbistro nachos before Sage got her grubby little fingers all up on them 😭😭😭😭. Shout out to my guy for always making it feel like home when we come in! Talk to me nice from now on 😤 🕊️ ♥️ Tell me something beautiful about the other side. I look tired. I am tired. I am being far too precious with the gifts I’ve received in this extremely temporary life. I need to make some changes. Gotta remind myself of the whole point of it more often. I’ve been too consumed with chasing comfort, but forgetting that one of the best parts of creating art is being uncomfortable. I got sick so I wasn’t able to post this as quickly as I said I would but here we go. Always so much love for Mr. Ocean and the spirit that he carries through his music. #frankocean #cover #godspeed Post Papa Bday Appreciation. My best friend. My roadie. My workout buddy. My copilot. My eating partner. My movie quote master. My first teacher. My dad. I don’t cast off the reality of life‘s finiteness. I choose to cherish the moments I spend with you. I hope before our time is paused I can show you that your sacrifices and faith in me were not forsaken. I think I’ll release this song soon
